Amedeo Clemente Modigliani (* 12 July 1884 in Livorno; † 24 January 1920 in Paris) was an Italian draughtsman, painter and sculptor. Today's fame is based primarily on his nude paintings, which were considered scandalous in his time and only found acceptance later.
